The time has come at last: I am implementing the domain name I purchased three years ago. I journal daily, but always in private, and even things that I have published online rarely come with my full name attached.

So behold, blog world! I join the ranks of teenage girls* everywhere.

*I am not a teenage girl. Not anymore. I thank the heavens for this daily.

But everyone does seem to have a blog anymore. I created my first blog when I was a freshman in college. There was an unfortunate incident in which an imposter ran across my adolescent musings, and I've been scared off public publishing ever since. But I think enough time has passed to heal my wounded pride and allow me to post about my writing here and there.

My current plans for posting mainly involve discussion of my writing, editing, and submitting, something I've been quite lax about recently and would like to improve.

Tally ho!

  1. This blog is edgy and relevant. Who is this soon-to-be famous author? I shall follow her musings constantly and tell all of my trendy, artsy, "with it" friends to follow it too.

This one's heading for the big time.

  2. I am so excited that you've decided to join the public blogging world! I can't wait to see what your blog (and future) holds!

  3. This comment has been removed by the author.

  4. Thanks guys! Now the eternal problem... what to write about?!
